This client wanted her New York Pied-a-Terre to be "fabulous!" She uses the apartment for work and pleasure plus wanted it to be special for her out-of-town guests staying over.

We chose a micro-fiber sleeper sofa, swivel chair, round mirror over the sofa and Cherner arm chair to create a warm and functional living room. The area rug is silk and the throw pillows accent the seating with a pop of color. The living room coffee table, end table and bedroom side tables were designed and provided by James Cohen.

How We Achieved It:
At the start of the project, the apartment was completely empty. We decided to keep the walls white. After carefully choosing a few key pieces of furniture and accessories from our vast list of sources to complement the taste of our client as well as the feeling of the space, we met with the client's son, James Cohen of Shape Fine Furniture, to discuss the parameters of the project and determine which pieces he would be designing for the space.
